Who We Are
At My Glorious Yoga we are focused on providing Yoga and Fitness to Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced practitioners. We encourage people from all walks of life and age, particularly over 50's, to practice Yoga to create strong yet supple bodies, healthy minds and a state of well being.
Our syle of Yoga is primary Hatha but we can work around injuries or pre-existing conditions. In a world moving at a pace too fast for it's own good Phil calls his style of Yoga the art of slowing down. Yoga has been well proven to provide fitness, still a racing mind, calm the nerves and relax the body.
The physical movements or poses in yoga (the Asana's) linked to our breath (Pranayama) creates a state of health and well being - it will also bring balance and harmony into your life reducing stress and anxiety. Meditation can also slow the mind and bring focus.

Phil has been involved in fitness of mind and body for around 35 years. He obtained his Certificate 3 and 4 in Personal Training in 2009 as a Mature age student and also holds a First Aid Certificate and Professional indemnity and Public Liability Insurance. In March 2013 Phil proudly obtained his Yoga Teachers Certificatation through the Byron Yoga Centre in Byron Bay. He is passionate about this ancient art and incorporates Asana (poses), Pranayama (breath) and Meditation into each practice session. Remember "The practice is the Process"
Phil originally got involed in Yoga after suffering from high blood pressure for many years - when faced with the question from doctors of taking blood pressure tablets for the rest of his life (with known side effects) he decided to "go alternative" to western medicine and try an Eastern philosphy and a self cure approach by taking up yoga, which to this day has been a success.
